Turbo HHR replaces Cobalt SS/SC

Anyone ever consider that if Chevy is indded making a Turbo HHR that maybe they are planning to drop the Supercharged version of the Cobalt and use the HHR to compete with the SRT?? Just a thought that popped into my head...I have heard nothing about this, official or unofficial.

I won’t get rid of my Cobalt, but I will get a turbo HHR for sure (not first year production).

Definitely no. GM may seem like they dont know what theyre doing sometimes, but I dont think they lack THAT much common sense. I dont see any reason the two cant coexist.

With GM its still just a rumor till we see em on the lot! GM pulls the plug on stuff all the time. Please see the GTO for the latest evidence of this.

You mean the cars you can see on the lot?

They just discontinued it when they dropped the Austrailian model that it came from. It will be back, don't worry.

Is that a Cobalt behind the HHR about halfway through the video? I see the double circle tail lights, but the video quality is not that good. Whatever it is seems to be quite a bit faster than the HHR, assuming they're both running to full potential.

SRT Line? Or something like the SRT4!

I could see it as a direct challenge to the Dodge Caliber. Of course I believe Dodge does have an SRT4 Caliber, maybe that's what you mean. I still don't see GM replacing the Cobalt SS/SC with the HHR Turbo.

Yea, that will not happen. The two can co-exist. They are not targeting the same buyer
