i kno a local guy that had tvs installd and dynoed 250sumthing on mustang dyno and then blew his motor.i kno that varies but still why spend 2500plus to make most likely the same power u have now unless u spend even more in supporting mods that give u what 320whp MAYBE? **** less than a grande and get alot more power than that easily without even having to spending the time or money on tuning
A guy named Joe Rutledge is the one tuning my car. It had just a base tune on it, just enough to get it running. Yes it dynoed at 267whp and 242wtq, but that was on a low rating dyno and after having driven the car around for a while with no cooling mods. I had to deploy so I wasn't able to get into the timing that could have exposed way better results than I experienced. My build thread has lots more in it, probably more than I need to do to get to my goal. And I don't have to worry about running out of power or forgetting to fill my tank. Nitrous is cool and all but I'd rather have the power under my foot like it belongs instead of at the flick of a switch.

why? no one NEEDS 300-350whp to drive to or the grocery store.u only really use that power at the strip or a dyno for braggimjg rights.thats why having to have the power at ur foot shouldnt matter

thats what im saying ive already had a street racing charge and dont even break the speed limit now my car will be setup for the track which is why i want spray for 3td gear i already trap consistent 109mph in the quarter with my current setup

Why does it have to be about bragging rights? Gearheads look for ways to make their cars better. Tell me what is important to you when you have a car? With all the people on here, you'd be hardpressed to find people that have the exact same reason. Just looking at the mods in your sig go contrary to what you just posted. If you didn't want the extra power, why have a 3" downpipe, get your blower ported, and go for meth? And yes my car is a dd but being built with track time in mind, both drag and road racing.
k west is just saying that no one needs 350whp all the time which is why the n20 is good for a car that is a dd and someone who wants to run at the track. when your at the track the nitrous is used where as if you were to have the tvs making that much power you wouldnt be able to turn it off so to speak. he is just saying that no one needs that much to drive around every day, but some people want it hahaha
(and im not just saying that since im the guy selling the 1300-1400 dollar kit
)

If you dont push the gas down all the way, you wont have 350hp...
you know the pedal doesnt have to touch the floor to go anywhere?
Dont spend your money on nitrous.. Yea its nice... but that leaves more room for things to go wrong...
The TVS is really frickin nice, and you wont have to spray to beat anybody..

Point taken. But who drives around with the gas pedal mashed to the floor all the time? That kind of thinking makes no sense. Why not just spray everytime you leave a red light? You wouldn't do that right? So why would I drive like my right foot weighs 50 pounds?

zrated89, to answer your question, it was a dyno shop deep in virginia beach, and I think it was a mustang dyno. I forget the street name but the exit is right before 264 east ends. It's close to a storage facility.
By the way, you now know who'll be doing my state inspections right? And where the hell is Dinwiddie? The only track I know of is in Richmond, and the track prep out there sucks. I couldn't hook up out there for anything, and I was running mid 13's because of it. I'll have much more time to go to the track this year, and I know my times will improve big time. I've never seen your car before but I know we have exchanged words on the tidewater forum. I look forward to seeing you after I get back from deployment.

OP: Get a TVS

Are you serious??? You have all day to post random BS filled threads, a ton of visual mod threads that get you fired up and purposely try to get people banned; yet have no idea about the TVS which has been decent news on here for a year... Think you need to read this:How To Search

^^Don't take this the wrong way but I had 22000 to make decisions with. I chose the supercharger because I want that to be the staple on which I make my power. My car being supercharged is a big reason why I bought it. If I wanted a turbo at the time I made the purchase, I'd have gotten an srt-4. My love for the car's layout is the reason I decided to upgrade the supercharger instead of getting nitrous. Believe me, it was a thought due to the fact that it is inexpensive compared to the supercharger. But easy never fit my personality anyway.
To each his own. I will never talk down a nitrous setup. It's all a matter of preference to me.
Wicked, you're going up for COTM? I got your back man. I count for only one vote so I hope you're ready for it.
