ask a dealership. The website is never correct on anything. They leave out so many things its not funny.

 

I really wish somebody knew the answer to this because I would love to buy a 2007 but don't want to wait and it be too late to get a non-used 06 with g85...

 

Hello. This is completely false. I talked with my buddy who is a sales manager for a dealership, and the 2007 SS/SC's will be available with both Recaro seats and LSD in the same form of a Performance Package. I have no word on weather the Recaro seats will be exactly alike the current ones, but they will be included.

when I was getting my 2005 I was all over the internet looking for the G85 package that I kept reading about and the chevy site never listed it. You have to talk to the dealers or find a way to get one online perhaps by contacting gm or perhaps a dealership can find one for you. I have 2 in my area when I was looking. One was sold while the other one had a stupid markup which I didnt want to dive into.

 

so can any1 go and get a 2007 SS/SC lsd now or do we have to wait for the '07 models to warm up??

 

Act now , all orders placed after August 21st that have G85 will NOT have Recaro seats . G85 after Aug. 21st until further notice will be the LSD only . All dealers should be aware of this . The recaro seats do not meet a new seat law coming into effect .

No, you can get it installed for a couple grand.

 

A couple gs? Oh my, would that request be made straight through gm?

My 07 SHOULD have them but I'm still nervous about it. If the car doesnt have recaros when it gets here, I'm asking the dealer to take them out of the 06 G85 they have on the lot.
