No Recaros in 2007?

i was talking with the dealer today and priced out a 2007 ss/sc and it had the G85 option but it didn't say anything about the recaro seats.
Does anyone know if they are in the ss/sc in 07? im in canada to, not sure if it makes a diff. thanks

I sat in the reacaro seats the other day, and I must say since i'm a bigger framed guy I did not like them, I like my regular SS seats mucho better more comfrontable.

Talking Factor...

They were the deciding factor for me. When I was looking for my cobalt last week, the dealerships were cutting each other's throats in order to get my business. One of them wanted to sell me a 2007 that just got off the truck that morning for 21,490. But, the deciding factor was that it did not have the Recaro seats, and I opted for a 2006 orange one with them. They did everything to sell me it too, but it just wasn't the same. The one thing good on the 2007 was the better warranty. But, the seats are so worth it.

Not trying to be a jerk but just making sure everyone knows that....

There are some 07 models with the recaro seats. I beleive they were made with the option until late august. So if you hurry you can probably get ahold of one with them. I have personally laid eyes on an 07 with recaros.

I have no idea whats gonna happen to the LSD though.

LSD Stays, recaros go.

I will be pissed and a half if the 07 I ordered 3 months ago does not have them.

Ok so for us guys that didn't get the recaros. anyone know how much they are from recaro/ GM? i sat in a SS 2.4 today and the seats were not to bad, the heated seat was nice, but not as good as the Recaro.
Any of you using any aftermarket seats?

Today I saw and sat in 2 07's that had recaros! One was loaded with sunroof, extra air bags, xm, onstar, and polished wheels. This dealership had 7 other SS/SC's w/o perf. pack.! In MO to boot!

The brochure states that the "performance package" comes with the Recaro seats in 07. But then again it is a brochure, not the real thing.

I wish GM would offer the heated seats in the SS/SC. At least you would have an advantage with the regular seats.

Leave it to GM to offer heated seats and high-polish wheels on the lower priced model, and make them unavailable or a pay option on the more expensive model! I don't get them sometimes. I doubt heated seats add much weight GM!!!
