Even unbiased I say SS/ cause the RX-8 is only using it's name pretty much to get attention. Loks are ok, but I swear the only reason it sells is cause of the name Mazda used.

At least the second one w/ 47k miles has the good rims.....

Seriously though, it's a matter of opinion. The RX-8 looks good, but I'd say go with the Cobalt for performance. I don't really like the RX-8 just because I think it's way overpriced for what it is.

 

Whoa dude. I was debating between these 2 cars as well. I was actually going to get the grand touring package though which supplied leather/heated seats 6 speed and such. If you get the auto you will be highly disapointed. The auto is slow as **** son!!!! If you get any rx-8, make sure it is the grand touring package and doesn't have the busted ass rims like that 1...

Read the damn poll more of us like the cobalt then the rx8 its done and over with....this forum is beat! Why say another looks better than the cobalt when he polled and got the results. Its like going in a mustang forum and saying hmmm i could possibly get a mustang or a camaro.....they would say your a ******* idiot. If your banking on a poll go to the rx8 and make one and add them together or on the other hand you can go pros/cons.

IMO making a poll about 2 tottally different cars and one being the main topic of a forum is just plain stupid.

 

Umm... all that rambling you just did still doesn't change the fact that how you think a car looks is a matter of opinion. Yes, the results will be biased here in the poll. But you attacked his statement where he said "I think the rx-8 looks better inside and out"... keywords being "I think". He was expressing his opinion and you told him not to do that here. I don't know about you, but I don't want our forum to turn into some kind of fanboy club. Opinions are welcomed here.... even if they favor another car.

 

Thanks Ppazz.. If you don't think I should be able to express my opinion on which I think looks better, then you have no business being here to begin with.. I've liked the SS/SC for over a year now and wanted to get it ever since, I love the car.. I'm simply weighing my options out.. I'm in no way putting the Cobalt down... And no I havn't decided on the RX-8.. Honestly, I would probably get a cobalt if I could find a good one for sale with low miles... Where can I find members cars that are for sale? Someone said to look into "Victory Red's" car..

Everywhere i post I have someone chiming in with bullshit about what I say and most of the time it defends our cars or someone else on the forum wtf is the deal. If you want to kick me off for that **** then i don't want to be here. I thought were suppose to come here to get more educated on our cars and to meet new people with our cars ect. ect.

 

I attacked someones statement.......what with an opinion? Come on is that not a little extreme. All I came here to do was to learn about my car and help others with what knowledge I have of it. This forum/ thread ask my opinion on the cars and I gave it. I noway said someone could not have a opinion, if it seem that was i apologize.

No one said you couldn't have your own opinion. I just said that all opinions were welcome here. No one even attacked you.

For those of you who said I was going to get the RX-8 and it didn't matter what you guys said.. welcome to being wrong.. I've gone with what my body's been telling me to do for the past year, and I'm gonna get a 06 SS/SC. I wouldn't of made this thread if I was decided on the RX8. I was just using this thread kinda to trick my body to not falling for the RX8. -- I have to persuade my dad to get the Cobalt, for some reason he has something against it, but I think I have found a great car for a great price, and I'll be creating another thread to have you guys posts so I can show you guys the deal on it, and then show my dad your comments on if it's a good deal, just so it'll persuade him :P

Sorry if I caused drama somehow? I simply stated the RX8 looked better inside & out (which I still believe) -- doesn't have anything to do with the cars itself. I still chose the cobalt

Congrats to deathwish too... I think you're gonna be happy with your choice. My buddy has an RX-8 and I hate it. I'd choose even my 2.4L SS over his RX-8. You're gonna like it!
