Oil Catch Can?

So browsing the net I come across Oil Catch Cans, saw a few people on here with them as well.

Wondering if they're worth the money...I know they're supposed to cut down on blow-by and such but will anyone using one notice a difference?

Discuss....

They dont cut down on blow by. They stop 0il from getting in to the intake threw the PCV valve.
There a good idea to have. Im going to get one at some point.

They can be had for less then 60 bucks but do some checking befor you buy. Some of them are not vary well made and some dont have any way to tell if there geting full.

Any vendors have good quality ones? I saw one awhile back on one of our supporting vendors but couldn't find it again.

And would look now but its back to work...

I am curious if this would help solve my oil usage problems. Seems I'm a quart low every time I change the oil (I measure what comes back out of the car). Anyone seen a how-to on doing this? Think it would help me out? I only run around 4k on an oil change (mobil1) and I am not too hard on my car so I can't imagine where else the oil would be going.

Last time I checked Modern Performance had one, looked pretty nice, was contemplating getting it if it was worth it, also would fill that void of no stock airbox anymore

Forced are you sure your filling it up with the right amount? You might want to take that to your dealer.

Also will these work on all cobalts? I'm almost 90% sure they will, but hell why not ask

Thats not good man. I'm never low on oil on or before a change. Always within 1.4th of a quart.

Yeah, I'm adding the right amount. I've only changed it 2x. I only noticed it on the second oil change. I'll check it out as soon as I get it back from the body shop.

Well looking into this more, theres really no point in having an oil catch can on a cobalt, theres technically not PVC valve to hook it up too....now I'm debating getting a coolant reservoir instead
