OTTP Worst Customer Experience Ever!!

I am constantly updating this as the days pass

As most of you know and have seen the *4 Hour Sale* thread by OTTP the other day (back on Oct 27th) to get a great deal…… has now been removed/deleted as of today (Nov 8Th)?

I recently purchased an Aeroforce Interceptor from Sean who works with OTTP because he created a 4 Hour Sale thread and mentioned that they had special deals and that IF YOU DID NOT GET THE TRACKING NUMBER WITH-IN THE HOUR IT WAS FREE!! Now I got my tracking number within the hour so they held up that end of the sale. I paid for this Gauge instantly on OCT 27th and it is now NOV 8th. When checking with USPS it shows that is has been only electronically received and not processed. I called USPS many times to get the same answer that it was still sitting with the seller.

So here is what I did: I called OTTP the other day and spoke with Josh and he told me that he would look into this and go get it himself and have it straightened out and that he would update me on it. Today comes with no update from OTTP and nor an update on the USPS website. So I called USPS again and they told me it is still sitting at the seller and that they have only made an electronic weigh bill. I ended up calling Josh again and having to explain the whole situation to him again to get back to where we were yesterday, as it stands nothing got done. He mentioned he called them and that’s about it because he got busy. Anyways they said they would send out another one... Meaning I am now getting a new tracking number 200+ hours later. I asked him if they would Honor their 4 hour sale of it being free since I have been waiting 12+ days for it to even leave their building. Josh assures me it did leave and that USPS messed up. He mentioned that if the package details were a touch off they would hold the package for 10 days before delivering it, I explained this to USPS and they said if it was sitting at their Depot waiting for the 10 days it would still be scanned in and showing online and on their system that it is currently at that depot. Though the other main thing is he did not get back to me himself when he said he would.

Now here is the catch... Josh knew nothing about the 4 hour sale and claims the thread is gone and Sean must have done it without him knowing. The thread was active yesterday (nov8th) but not today…. Very Odd! I must say. So it boils down…. I’m pissed and now Josh is pissed... This isn’t his battle but he has to deal with it as he is the owner. I then said forget it and to return my money to me and I will go elsewhere and I will be making threads on the forums about the service of OTTP which I do not want to do but leaves me no other option.

Josh tried to work it out to an extent but it was not satisfactory seeing how Sean made a thread claiming it would be free. I told him that it does not have to be free because I understand nothing is free in life but I would like a better price for waiting 2 weeks after I paid to get nothing and not even have a package in transit let alone still at the shop. This just wasn’t happening.. So I said indeed return the money and I’m sorry but I will flaming the site for the customer service which he said in that case he would try to flip/turn the story around if he see’s anything on the forum. I understand to a point where he is coming from if he did indeed not know anything about this *4 hour sale* but this is his company and he is responsible for his workers and their actions.

Now if somehow someone wanted to look up the 4 hour sale... They can’t because the thread has been deleted. I just want my Aeroforce as promised. So I decided... to called Josh back at OTTP and said okay look... Don’t bother canceling the order I still want my interceptor and I will not start any threads on the forums about the service... I understand about company reputation and people make mistakes. All I ask for is a refund of my shipping. He agreed that he would do this. Send me my blue interceptor and refund me the shipping charge. Also I asked if he would make sure that it does get sent out Today ( Nov 8Th ) and if he could get back to me via phone / email whichever he preferred to give me the updated USPS tracking number and Josh agreed he would. It is now Nov 9th with no word back from Josh at OTTP. I continued to keep checking the old tracking number and it still says the same thing, I have emailed Josh to ask him for an update, contents of my email:

Hi Josh,

This is Geoffrey Carter, I was speaking to you yesterday about the Aeroforce gauge and we agreed that you would make sure the blue Aeroforce gauge would get sent out that day and contact me via email or phone call with the updated information. I am wondering how you made out? Thank you.

So another day has completely gone by and it is now Nov 9th and I have not received a reply to my email or a phone call. In respect I did not want to create this thread and complain because no one wants to hear about someone whining, but this is getting ridiculous and they are not living up to their end of the deal. November 10th comes and I still haven’t heard a thing or an email so I call Josh and ask him for the tracking number which he said he sent it to me on the 8th of Nov. I did not get any email’s or phone calls. It was put on the OTTP website without any indication. So it is now finally in transit to me, I also sent Josh an email to remind him about the credit on the shipping which I did not get a reply to.

November 21st my package finally arrives and I have YET to get a response from josh on the agreed refund and I have also been checking my paypal daily to see if there has been a credit and there is nothing there. I would have to say I am not getting my refund and they did not plan on returning it since it has now been 13 days.
Now another big problem is that I asked josh to make sure that the model I was getting would be the 3.7 version aeroforce gauge, which he assured me it was. The gauge I received is 2.8, Once again I am let down by josh and his company!
I told Josh I would not make this thread if things got straightened away, AND I would have held my word if indeed it was taken care of like we both agreed… but it was not on their end. I asked Josh if he could get the package out that day and to please email or call me with the information. (He stated he did) I do not have any missed calls or unread emails, I asked that the shipping be returned to my PayPal. (I have yet to receive it… and no longer care about the money. The money wasn’t the issue). Very poor / lack of communication and I received the wrong version gauge as we agreed!. So I will not hold this back... I think everyone needs to see how they handle things and treat their customers.

In respect of everyone else who deals with this company it is 100% your choice and you may have had perfect service and not a thing to complain about which is awesome and the way it should be. I am just frustrated and getting to the point that something has to be said, maybe no one else will have this problem with them but I want to still put it out there as a word of caution when deciding where to go. Now I know a Lot of you will say there’s two sides to every story which there most definitely is and I’m sure their side will come in due time but as myself working in the customer service/parts industry you do not treat your customers this way.
To everyone who may think I am an Idiot for making this thread... that is fine and your welcome to your own opinion and to those who take all of this into consideration and go else where to save yourself the trouble and headaches you are welcome.

you understand that they do not actually stock aeroforces..you buy one they send the order to aeroforce and they ship..its called drop ship...aeroforce is famously slow for shipping...as far as customer service thats other then but thats the problem with your gauge

yea i haven't had any issue with them personally and they seemed pretty cool, way too many of these stories poppin up now though.

They stated they had one blue and one white in stock.

if it was deleted, the mods can bring it back. Anywho, that really sucks dude. I don't mean to rub it in, but that's why the majority of my business has gone to Turbo Tech and ZZP.

i had a bad experience with them too!! they are the worst! i will never order from them again! i ordered a stage 2 kit from them and it took 6 and a half months to get it from them. we finally threatened them with a small claims law suit because they wouldn't give the money back either, and after we threatened with that i finally got all my parts. never doing business with them again. ZZP is the way to go. i messed up with them and i fixed everything with ZZP within 10 min. go to ZZP they are the right place to go to. my parts have always gotten sent out the next business day and they always come to me with in 2 days... i live in NE Ohio. i think i know where im going to keep my business at. sorry about your problems. just want to let you know that your not the only one who has had problems with them. they are a very poor company.

i think they said they had one in stock. it should have been shipped the next day.

I indeed learned my lesson. I never should of went to them but I never fathomed it would turn out like this.

***Also if your wondering why I did not just send it back after getting the wrong version when Josh stated it was a 3.7 is because even though I did NOT get my refund on shipping I also had to pay $40 on dutie fees. So I would also have to pay to ship it back to them and not get my shipping refund or my duty $ back.

Wow man that really sucks. Although I have usually had good service with them, this will make me more hesitant with ordering. Their lack of caring for the customer is troubling. Well hope all works out.
