i would do the hatrickstu mod over the option b. i think it is a better design.

you can install them and drive. just dont go into boost and it wont run very well. but if it is a short distance u will be ok.

I bought all my parts separate, through classifieds on here and vendor deals. Gmpp clutch and ottp stage one axles were a nice upgrade.

I personally would stay away from stu mod. Its been disproved. Plus Powell helped originally design staged kits for GM on the SC cars.says enough there

let me try and find it, someone broke it down real well. it was either on this site or gmsc. might take me a bit to find it.

basically said the coolant didnt sit long enough before it went back thru the system causing "heatsoak" if you want to call it that. The post had alot more info tho

hah im so confused. so yes i would be ok driving it without a tune for a little bit. like how far? no highway? ha details. besically no boost im guessing but ya. and second. i forgot to mention the main reason i wanted to pay for the canned tune was so i could get a custom tune on the pcm and keep mine so when i sell the car i can revert it back to stock before i do so.. i can do that right? if i get the canned tune then do the custom tune. i can do it on that pcm correct? and save my stock one?

I think everyone can agree that the "option B" crap or the "hatricku" **** pales in comparison to just running meth...

they unbanned you? sigh.....

OP. - if you have fred dynotune your car he can flash you back to stock at probably no cost if you decide to sell the car at a later point, this will save you from having to buy a second pcm altogether. i personally would just have him install everything instead of putting parts on and driving up to him to get it tuned just to be safe. can you do it the other way? yes.

just remember option b is continually running, meth is throttle or boost referenced. for example

if i do a pull in my car, meth is spraying for any time the blower is making over 10 lbs of boost. as soon as i let off the throttle the meth stops. option b will still be circulating the fluid afterwards to keep bringing temps back to normal operating temps.

While thats true, i've still never seen any hardcore proof that it actually helps. Way back, people never used to run H/Es or option B tanks and their cars where fine. And on top of that, they ran ridiculously small pullies (2.5-2.6). I'll probably get an Interceptor before i ever get a H/E or option B, so i'll do some pulls and check out what my IAT2s are.
