Well I know this is about Cobalts, but I think I'll post about what I paid for my Silverado. I know it's a 03', but I got it brand new. Paid cash and the total cost including tax/title/licence was *drumroll*.... just under $8K.

And though I can't prove it while I'm way out here in Iraq, if anyone doesn't believe me I'll post my proof of purchuse when I get home.

As for the wifes car, a fully loaded 06' LT (-Onstar), we pay $376 @ month for 60 months, $0 down. That payment is for the total, since cost,GAP Coverage, and T/T/L were all rolled together. Oh yea, and paying it off way early too, since for the first 3 months I wrote $2k checks and in a couple more months we'll pay the remander completely off.

Sticker on my new cobalt was 24,100 plus 2,500 in add-ons, GM stage 2, GMP honed header, GMP exaust. It is fully loaded G85 with onstar and sunroog. I got GMS price (22001.50) and paid full price for upgrades total of 24501.50 minus a 1250 rebate was 23251.50. With 6000 down and a pretty high interest rate, credit is not the best, I pay 494 a month.

.....and that doesnt even come close to being correct..... did you maybe put money down? cuz 26,350 / 48 = 549.

Mine was 29,592 including TT&L a 3500$ payoff from my old car, a 1400 warranty, and 700$ gap insurance. with 0% APR w00t

How are you guys paying so much for these cars? Even the SS/SC is around 23k, if that around here.

I had to get mine thru GMAC Smart Beginnings program becuase it was the only way they would give me the car without a co-signer (parents didnt want to sign for it) With this program I was pretty much limited to the LS and the interest rate i think is a little higher. I ended up getting the basic model with the spoiler, ABS, and power locks with a extended warrantee to 5 year 75,000 miles. I dont remember exactly what the total was but i pay $370 a month for 60 months
