Performance upgrade question

I have an 06 SS/SC (G85) with a stage 2 kit, gm honed header, gmpp exhaust and an injen cai. I was wondering if I changed the spark plugs would I get more power? If so What kind do you recommend. Any other mods that I could do as well??

intercooler upgrade

Hi

I've a 2006 Cobalt SS S/C and I've buy a new intercooler for it
but once I've to buy a new one I want to buy a better than the stock one but the only one I got on the internet till now is from Cobalt addiction which sounds good but my problem with it is that I've to wait for about 4 to 5 weeks before I get it and I can't wait so long.
Does anybody know any other website i can get one?

What do "colder" spark plugs do for you?

you dont get power from plugs.

Colder plugs are better at removing heat from the cylinder, and in so doing, they reduce the risk of knock.

I would suggest 1 step colder for S2+ bolton cars personally.
I found my car ran better/smoother with them.

Help combat detonation/knock by drawing more heat out of the combustion chamber. Becomes an issue as boost or compression gets higher or octane of the gas gets lower.

Go with ngk bkr7eix gapped at .040. I switched from the zex plugs and feel the car definitely is running better. I have stg 2, 2.8 pulley, hahn header, gmpp exhaust and cai. The car had a slight hestitation with the zex but the ngk eliminated the lag.

Ditch those shitty GMPP's for some real performance parts

It's the silver thing w/ fins on it in front of your fuse box, under the hood. There are three connections you have to disconnect before you can take it out. Pull back the locks and pull the plugs out, then just pull it out by depressing the lock tabs. You'll know what I mean when you see it...

Here, to make things easier. Page 7 of 20, refer to the section called "Removing PCM"
