I don't see the point of projects like this because at the end, it's not a Cobalt. Want my respect? Shove a Cadillac Northstar in a Cobalt. Before you complain about space, see this:

As for why when a tuned ecotec is cheaper and makes more power, because you can.

Lol, great comments so far!.. The nice thing about my situation is im a engineering manager for a metal fabrication shop here in canada. I have the tools at my finger tips to make this project happen!

But with a Northstar in there you would still feel like its not a Cobalt, correct?

WOW this is awsome. Hes actualy making a great effort here, not like one of those threads "I is going to make cobalt RWD 4 burnouts" threads. Sad part is with bolt ons youll probably make the same power as an LNF with bolt ons. and get 1/3 the gas mileage. But it will be badass (sounding/performing) still is a cobalt.
