I've been pulled over twice specifically for tint by MD State Troopers. Legal limit in MD is 35% as well.
1st time: 20% all around.
Had it removed and inspected by MVA.
2nd time: 20% all around, again. You would think I would learn.

I have 30% all around as of now and haven't had a problem since June 09'. Let's hope it stays that way.

My little brother bought his 06' 350Z with 5% tint on it, and he got pulled over and ticketed for it...
He just paid the fine, and keeps rolling around. Windows down all the time, unless it's raining.

Anyone on here have sensitive eyes? I was told by one of my local shops one time that if I got a prescription from my eye doctor with reasoning for needing darker than legal tint, there is nothing the cops can do about it....just a little loophole for ya.

Nice ive gotten 3 tint tickets in my driving career.
My advice to everyone, dont be retarded and get stupidly dark tint just bc it looks a little better. They really dont have any sympathy when it comes to writing people tint tickets.

I live in a small town in upstate NY and the cops up here have nothing better to do than pull people over for minor infractions like tint, exhaust, etc. Absolutely useless, and they wonder why the majority of the citizens here don't respect them.
After my 3rd traffic stop for just tint, I said **** this and ripped it off my doors. I had 20% on them. I now have the factory tempered 70% and couldn't be happier. I have the stock muffler and resonator, too.
It's just a revenue generator for the town. I refuse to give them any more of my money than I already am forced to...
