i was thinking of saving the front of my car from stone chips and bugs by doing the 3m tape on it but i just called and they want 650 bucks cdn for it do u think it worth it or not.

my car just a week old and alrdy got a stone chip so im really thinking i mit do this

 

WEll the stuff works so I think it is worth it. I had it on my old car and it looked great just make sure they know what they are doing when they install it cause its not the easiest to do.

I saw a clear vinyl thing on ebay, I think they called it a clear car bra. It was cheaper than what your talking about. I do not know exactly what 3m tape is in relation to the car, but it sounds similar to what I saw on ebay. It very well possibly be 2 different things though.

 

not worth the money in the end, check the how to section, there is a how to on repairing paint chips

 

I had the clear bra on my BMW. You cant even tell its there, other then a real fine line where the film ends.

$650 sounds a little high. I had it installed on my old Mustang for $300 and I talked to a guy about doing it to my SS and he wants $250.
