Did anyone see that new Chevy Cobalt commercial in Canada? The guys are sitting in the SS/SC listening to the radio, with some idiot talking with a mike on the curb. It is really dumb whatever they are saying!

Anyhow, the second time I saw it I noticed it was Arrival Blue (discontinued as of Aug '05), and they had the new black 2007 stereo with the big central knob in the car! Talk about false advertising. I'd be pissed if I went into a dealer and couldn't get the color I saw on TV. GM is so stupid sometimes!

Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this.

 

um maybe that is the new pace blue...

All I know is is that commercial is so lame. And I love how they have an ss/sc and list the base 13k price..lol

Also with the stereo when he adjusts the volume, the volume level "fills" with little vertical lines instead of the one single one showing the level.
Eg. his 0 lllllllllll 10
Ours 0 l 10


Really dumb commercial though. Not even a good angle to show off the lines of the car.

OMG. If I was shopping for a Chevy, I think I would be looking elswhere after seeing that! How are they going to sell cars like this? That is some of the worst advertising I have ever seen. That guy pust me to sleep!

 

Remind me to backcharge GM $1000 for having to a) watch the commercial and b) be identified with that ad for buying one of these.

This is the one i mentioned a couple of weeks ago. That if you notice that on the radio they have what looks like a MP3 player plugged into the stereo.

OMG! that commercial is the best! I love the 50's ad stuff. Isnt that guy from the Red Green Show? That blue color on the sssc they show is sexy too! But where is the 2.4 coupe?
