Radio help

Hey guys I have an 07 lsj and I recently disconnected my battery to get rid of a CEL after replacing my downpipe. When I reconnected it my radio no longer works. I have no door chime, turn signal sounds and the screen doesn't even come on to display lock. I bought a new oem head unit and the same thing. What could the issue be and what are the possible fixes. I'm really not trying to go aftermarket as I like the stock system and steering controls thanks

I checked the radio fuse in the footwell fuse box. Looked to be good. I should also mention that when I plug in the new unit it cycles through the 6 disc changer like it has power but like I said, no display or sounds.

I don't remember if it has a separate fuse for the amp or not?

I ended up buying a headunit out of an 07 base and it works but it doesn't play sound through the speakers. I bought a new amp in case somehow the batter fried the headunit and the amp just haven't had time to install it because I don't have my car right now.
