Rally Yellow Owners, step in!

I'm seriously considering a Rally Yellow SS/SC, but I've never owned a yellow car before. In my eyes, yellow has to be done just right to look good, and it seems like Rally Yellow pulls it off. What are your experiences of owning a yellow car? How does the color show up dust and other dirt? Ever wake up one day and look at your car and get annoyed that it's yellow?

An inquiring mind wants to know!

I drove a yellow truck for almost 2 years and now I got my cobalt thats yellow, I love yellow cars so much I get made fun of for it. I love my car, and clean it often (because the next day its filthy), I washed and waxed my car the other night, and the next morning it had a layer of dust that made the car look dark yellow! I love the color even if it gets dirty fast, plus in arizona it doesn't absorb heat nearly as well as laser blue or black

I had a yellow Monte Carlo SS and it stayed clean pretty well. I love yellow cars, too. I would have gotten a yellow Cobalt had there been one available.

I love the rally yellow. It is a bug magnet though. When I left my house this morning there were a ton of bugs on it, like life loving bugs, but none on my red jeep next to it. The other thing, which I think is a cobalt thing, not a yellow thing but the rear stays dirty. I wash it, the next day just the back end is filthy. But god that rally yellow is great

Yeah i'm getting made fun of for the yellow bit. My 74 Stingray is getting the rally yellow treatment as well as the hunk-o-**** jeep. At least everyone will know it's me.

The rear bumper of my Camaro is also always dirty, no matter how many times I wash it. Glad to know that switching to a newer GM product won't necessarily change that.

Get the Yellow..

I have to agree, bugs are really a pain and the job from the factory could have been better. I have blue spots on the rear quarter above the tire. It's nice to know that i'm not the only one with that problem.

I actually liked yellow. I had a yellow cavi for 3 years and then one day walk outside and u go well, this is old. The yellow was a cop magnet but also a chick magnet so thats a draw but its hard to keep clean and hide chips. And you can under no circumstances try to "sneak" anywhere in a yellow car. Just my experience.
