I completely agree and ask the same question. What the f**k was she doing driving at over 100mph with her kid in the back?? Now that kid has no mom for the rest of his/her life.

So so sad.

that was really dumb on the woman drivers part, i tend to not drive like an a**hole with passengers inside the car because i am responsible for not only my life but theirs as well, but when im by myself i tend to be a little more daring.

sad though my thoughts and prayers go out to the families..

woman = how old? not gonna make any more comments...

'cept for... if it was a redline she'd probably have lived.

edit: nope now i'll comment. troopers estimate she was going 100mph w/ her child in the car. darwin did the right thing here and took her outta the equation and left the kid behind to lead a healthy, safe life w/ somebody else. it's just too bad that, as usual, an innocent person had to lose their life because of a ******* moron.

no kidding. damn too fast in a car like that.

this is EXACTLY why people dont condone street raceing ESPECIALLY at high speeds. if u speed imagine if that was you. ever since i got my ticket for that stuff i do the speed limit or 5 under. and i have an LS not some hotrod SS/SC

i mourn for the families and people involved in the accident.

I was in 2 major accidents in july, i had a red ss/sc and got hit at 60mph cause a lady ran a red light, then I got a new 07 black ss/sc was cut off on the freeway and lost control and hit the wall at 80mph. Both accidents i should not be here to talk to you guys, but oddly enough i got out with a scratch. I feel bad that people died, but she should have been careful especially with a kid in the car.

This is very very sad. Though I grieve for the families involved I am VERY glad that it isn't a DSLSJA member. That would crush me as I take our family very seriously.

For everyone talking about high speed driving on this thread, remember that the next time your on the freeway doing 85+. It's very easy and comfortable to get our cars to 100+. If the driver was driving that speed and being careless that is different of course.

The child who is now w/out a parent (assuming it was the parent) is really at a loss now and I will pray for them.

I said earlier that I wish all the "kids" on this site could see this. Actually I know I shouldn't have said kids.
It just amazes me how every damn day someone brags here about hitting 120+ racing some other idiot on the street. I am hoping that those people, whatever their age, watch this and try to learn something from it.

I couldnt see the vid, but the pics were crazy... my prayers go out to the kid and the families of those who died, there is no reason that woman should have been going that fast with a child in the car, what a fricking moron, now her child (guessing) will have to grow up without a mother.
