while my best wish's go out to the family of the persons in the truck, i can not say the same for woman in the cobalt.

evolution finally got the best of that dumb chick......

why would you EVER do 100 to "merge into traffic?" let alone with your kid in the car....if theres one thing in this world mothers are supposed to protect more then anything else its you kid's......being a parent is a job, treat it a such and DO IT.

i hate seeing such sad things happen because of one persons bad judgment, now two TOTALLY INNOCENT people are dead cuz this bitch hauled ass while probably trying to do her make-up or something......

arg....

Here is an update on the story.
The driver of the Cobalt was 28 and her daughter is 4.

So she left 3 children without mothers. Darwin got another one. Just sick to think that someone could have that much disregard for not only the lives of others on the road but her own damn daughter.

From the looks of the pic on that page, I'm REALLY hoping that her daughter never remembers anything that happened because from the looks of the impact on the car and what looks like maybe blood on the top of the instrument panel cover, the mom probably got herself decapitated...

"Start Rant"

I agree that the driver was extremely foolish, ignorant, selfish...... in the way she was driving BUT why is everyone giving Darwin the credit for taking another one?
You know that the theroy of evolution (yes theory) was actually rejected by....wait for it.....Charles Darwin himself. In his later years he himself recanted his own theory as "the musings of foolish young man". I doubt you want to know what he read the latter part of his life.
The driver never should have driven that way and her daughter has lost a mother, a father has lost a daughter and a family may lose a husband/grandfather.

Chill. Damn dude, it's a saying. Whether it's proven, disproven, whatever. And some people do believe that it's survival of the fittest. Hence why people still circulate the "Darwin Awards" for removing themselves from the gene pool.

Her choice of driving style certainly didn't help her survival chances. It's not like she was driving and was hit out of the blue by a piece of debris or something. Her demise is a result of her own decision to drive like a bat out of hell on a crowded freeway.

Chill, Dudette, I totally agree that her very poor choice caused her death and the pain of everyone else connected with the outcome of her driving.

You know, the same people that are quick to judge and badmouth are probably the same ones that themselves think are invincible and can go at breakneck speeds and survive anything. Just remember, the reaper's got something for you too........

Some Thoughts:

Life is fleeting, and it surely can be tragic.

Sometimes it's our own fault when something bad happens ... sometimes it's not.

I need to remain ever vigilant with my speed as it relates to how/where I drive.

Being a fireman, I can relate to what Charlotte Fire was thinking when they rolled up on this horrible accident:

-Triage (where do we begin?)
-Send more help ...
-Dispatch the chopper immediately ...
-This could have been me or my own kid ...

Profoundly sad. May the deceased Rest In Peace, and may God take special care of the other victims ... the family and friends of the deceased.

If the viewing of this story can slow down at least one person and save their life ...

Then their deaths was not in vein.

Well first off, sorry to that person family :-( that sucks! Those cable barriers are such a ******* joke anyways. in washington alone in the last 6 months i think we have had over like 15 cars plow right through them. It has gotten so bad around here they had ordered the install of them to be stopped until they could probe they actually work. If u ask me the state needs to quit being cheap ************* and put in the old cement medians. at least they ******* stopped people.
