rear bumper

does anyone know how to remove the rear bumper? let me know how hard it is.

its really east. open your trunk and see the 6 clips going into the bumper cover? pop them out. then lay down under the back and the are a few under the bumper cover near the exhaust. then the rear tire wells have a few screws. and finally, the side marker lights have to come out

Fascia Replacement - Rear (Chevrolet)


Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement


Preliminary Procedures


1. Remove the tail lamps and side marker lamps. Refer to Tail Lamp Assembly and /or Backup, Sidemarker, Stop, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
2. Remove the license lamp. Refer to License Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
3. Remove the rear wheel liners. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Panel Replacement - Rear in Body Rear End.

callouts:
1 Retainer, Rear Bumper Fascia - Upper (Qty: 4)

2 Screw, Rear Bumper Fascia Tail Lamp Pocket (Qty: 4)

Tighten 2 N·m (18 lb in)

3 Bolt, Rear Bumper Fascia (Inside wheel well) (Qty: 2)

Tighten 10 N·m (89 lb in)

4 Retainer, Rear Bumper Fascia (Qty: 4)

5 Fascia, Rear Bumper

Tip Pull the sides of the rear fascia at the quarter panel to release the fascia from the brackets.
