The non-SS Cobalts having rebates but not the SS model ( must be selling enough of them ), if you can I would wait to see what G.M has to offer in December.

Good luck trying to get a rebate now. Cobalts are cheap cars to begin with. Even the SS can't have that big a profit margin considering the state of GM's finances.

yes there is

If you go to GMbuypower.com and build a cobalt SS you will see there is a $1000 rebate or good finance rates on non supercharged SS's, at least in the north central region.

well after last night of haggeing for about an hour and half he started out wanting 450 month from me!!! i was like hell no man, i said im leaving if thats the best you can do he said wait and he talked with his manager guy and said we can get you to 414/month, i still said thats not good enough get it below 400. < i am trading in a 2002 celica gt-s with 33k miles on it fully loaded , i owe $17,200 on it and my trade is worth $14,000. i am putting down $3,900, and the interest should be no higher than 7% and & 7% tax in my area and then the supercharged wing and bodykit on top of all that is like $1500 so with all that what do you think would be a good monthly rate i was figuring around 380 a month

9k off sticker price? Wow, how much did you end up paying? That seems a little much. Im a GM employee and can't get that much taken off.

For the base SS S/C, isnt MSRP around 21,900.00???

So you paid between 12,900.00 - 15,000.00 for your SS S/C??

Hmmm.......

I don't know about anyone else but I got a $1000.00 cash back on my 2006 SS. Maybe that was just for my dealer though. They even found one and shipped it in for free!!!!!

My brothers friend is a dealer, I went to get the SS/SC at about $24,500. I dont want the XM, or the On-Star and stuff I wont use like that, I dont want to have to wait to order it though also. I get the GM discount but its only like 400 off so it isnt going to help really. I am hopeing when I go back I can get them to lower it to at least 21k because I cant go affording like 400 and ova a month. I am looking at hopefully like 350-380.
