hello
I am a noob here and getting used to the forums.

I just bought a 2007 cobalt ss/sc it has a CAI, corsa exhaust, new headers and downpipe... the car runs good.

But on startup the rpms fluctuate from 1200 down to 800 and back an forth for a few seconds then after one last drop down to about 500 rpms then it clears back up to the normal 1000 rpm mark.

been searching an havent found a real clear answer, any help??

thank you. I read this after i posted, i was just curious to see if there were any other opinions

 

the fact ur saying that it idles at 1000 means it might be tuned, or has aftermarket injectors, can you please take some pics of the engine bay and close ones of the injectors please

& I saw ur in VA, where about are you ?

 

try doing throttle body service
