My '06 SSSC is only 9 months old and the paint is starting to bubble up along the seam under the trunk lid, adjacent to the rear window. Is anyone else experiencing this? Was it repaired under warranty?

First the finish chipped off one wheel, and now rust. This is my 1st General Motors car, and it may be my last.

 

that's really strange... I haven't heard anyone with rust problems at all...

should be covered under warranty... I believe body and rust is 5 years...

i had some chipping under my headlight and got them to respray it.

just watch the dealer you take it too... the one i took it to put me in a rental truck for a nearly TWO WEEKS before i got my car back...

(thats the dealer not gm) just sayin, be carefull

 

i was wondering about this also.. a month ago i did a full detail of the car and i noticed when i had the trunk open that outer parts of the body behind the weather stripping appeared to be getting light surface rust.. i cleaned it off but i damn well am keeping my eye on it.. if i see it again im going straight to the dealer
