hey everyone, kinda thinking of selling my car for a base model cobalt (no wing nothing) with the 2.2L eco... just wondering if anyones put the M62s/c on a 2.2 cobalt. i've got a 04 sunfire 2.2 with the M62 on it, just wanted to know if theres still room in the balt after putting that charger on it???

yea it can be done, others have done it. there is only one tuning option, and its not hp tuners. hp tuners doesnt support the 2.2l.

a better option might be to either buy an ss/sc, or supercharge a 2.4l. there are a couple supercharged 2.4l, and the extra displacment does produce some good power.

 

im one of those supercharged 2.2's. Take your setup off your sunfire. Theyre 90% the same parts...might be 100% actually. Just reinstall the parts on a cobalt LS and get a tune and your done.
