If you absolutely need a car i your area, I would suggest that you sell your mods and go back to stock. If you can live without a car, then yea, try to sell the whole thing. Im starting college next year and ive heard much about going into debt, it sucks. Best of luck to you though.

I am in the same boat as you, this is the advice I was given... if you are 5k or more in the red then yes sell the car and get a beater for now. If not, then pay what you can when you can but just always make sure you make your minimum payment.

I have a personal financial assistant and my mother works in a bank as well. Both people gave me the same advice so it must be true.

 

yea i hate college it takes up soooo much of ur time but now days what are you going to do without a degree in somthing you know? .... well i have 2 cars, i have my 06 cobalt which im paying monthly and i have a 4DR 96 explorer 4x4... so i was thinking selling the cobalt since the explorer is paid off and then later on once i get back on my feet again maybe buy a ss/sc but i dnt know what im going to do yet... but thnx 4 the luck man

idk how much in the hole you are, but since you have two cars, sadly I would sell the balt until you get your head above water. And your right about having a degree in something. Can you believe that some of these kids im about to graduate with plan on staying in this little small ass town!

Well not to be mean or anything but who isnt in debt these days? I mean everyone owes somebody something. Im not trying to say u should be like everyone else and be in debt just no where to stop before u get in over ur head. I mean im 19 and I have about $30,000 in debt with my car and credit card bills, but its no biggy. Each month I pay my monthly payment, my bills, and pay off my credit cards... then start it all over the next billing cycle...lol
