Should I trade?

Idk much abt these but a guy offered to trade me plus $1000 on his end.
Its a 2000 328ci with 122k miles and i like the way it looks but i cant decide on it.
The only thing that kills it for me is its automatic.

What do you all think?

BMW 328ci Coupe, Low Miles - $6950 (Roswell)

I'm a huge Bimmer fan, but this isn't a good trade. Even with the cash.

If he can prove all maintenance records that have been done including water pump, timing ect and throws in $2500 I'd say do it. But the offer he gave you is terrible. The BMW is nice and would last you longer than the cobalt but they are a little pricier to maintain vs your gm but not too much more. What's the mileage and condition of your car?
