Slight RPM surge - Clutch
Slight RPM surge - Clutch
Hey guys,
So, during normal driving, whenever I depress the clutch to shift my rpms surge by a couple HUNDRED rpm.... (small amount)
Does anyone else get this?
I also believe I have the timing chain problem as described in other threads, because I get a rattling once in a while that cant be reproduced consistently, as described here.

I also get a "clicking sound" when gears engage. just a single click.
Does anyone think that this could all be related?

I have an SS/SC and I see the same thing , these cars have a return-less fuel system
when you push in the clutch with your foot of the gas there is some fuel that needs to get burned off because it is not getting sent back to the tank. Just putting some revs on the engine while in neutral you may see the same thing where it takes a moment for the the
RPMs go to idle speed.
