I ran out of gas last night on the way to the gas station, thought it was funny, lol

anyone eles do the same?

 

I always keep at least an 1/8 of a tank of gas at all times. Especially with this cold weather we have been having lately

 

lol , I put $10 dollars in at a time always and I do it when my thing tells me low fuel ,lol unlessI know Im taking a long trip or something, lol

I thought it was funny, lucky my friend drove by right as we ran out, lol

 

i totally did the same **** about a month ago... i kept saying...i can make it home its not a big deal...and then literally 200 feet away from the gas station i stalled. i felt like such an ass.

 

i remember i was with my dad and i were on our way to the gas station in his old beater cavalier and we ran out like 1500 feet from the gas station, we had to wait for our neighbor to fill up a gas can and bring it to us haha.

 

ive got a good one... i ran out of gass on my way to pick up my prom date about 100 ft from her drive.. i actualy coasted about 200 ft but i ended up 100 ft from her place.. her dad had to come pick me up... needless to say we took her car and i crashed at her house and went to the gas station in the morning..

 

lol, we were like a mile away from my friends but like 10 miles from the closeest gas station, lol it was soo funny!! Me "were dying!! , were dying!!" friend-"what?'" me-"damn we just died" lol we were aout to grab our skateboards and head down to my friends house and thats wwhen my friend pullecd up, we went to my friends house who was close grab a gas can full of gas for the 4-wheelers and knocked the whole way to the gas station ,lol. and we starteed to stall as we pulled into the gas station! lol =)! HAHAHAH

 

Yeah, i have had close calls and then finally it happened in my old cavy.
One time i had to literally coast into the gas station. and several other times i could tell the engine was struggling to make it to the station. When I did finally run out (it was inevitable with my habits) the stupid guage read like 1/8, or jsut above the red zone and the low fuel light didnt come on, i didnt knotice it when I got out of work and totally forgot to fill up. so now I always have a gas can in my trunk!
