We all have waited and waited on our Cobalt SS...with spring right around the corner the 06's will be out soon after (aug)...GM most likely will offer a rebate or big discount by then on the 05 SS version...with that said...what would be the benefit of getting an 05 in march or whenever they finally come out...with 06's right around the corner...here's what we should all do...the people that preordered a SS and are tired of GM and their "dont ask, dont tell,no clue" policy on their hot new coupe's production/release date...make GM wait till aug 06!

I'd rather them wait and produce a more reliable product then rush and give me a heap of crap.

At this rate Chevy should call the SS/sc a 06 model. Considering the values put on car are calculated with a Sept. release date all of us getting the 05 SS will have lost a 1/2 years value before we even get it.

No Your talking about the 2005, they are labeling it under the 2005 namebrand NOT 2006, although im sure its subject to change.

I see what your saying that it's so past the start of the 2005 model year they should make the 2005 Cobalt SS/SC a 2006 Cobalr SS/SC instead. That said I am not buying it for the resale value.

Like others have expressed I would rather have GM shake out as many bugs as possible before they ship the my Cobalt to me.

make them wait

For less than $9000 you can get a cavalier, why buy a cobalt? For $11000 you can mod the cavy the way you want it!
