Soaked Carpet
Soaked Carpet
Hey Guys,
So, I've had a damp carpet on the front passenger side for a while now. Doesn't smell like antifreeze and the reservoir level is good, so I really paid no attention to it. This morning we were having a downpour, so on my way to work, I reached behind the driver seat to feel if my umbrella was behind it. My hand touched the floor and it was soaked! I didn't check the passenger rear so I don't know yet if that is wet. The drivers side front is dry. If the drain(s) on the sunroof plug up will that get the rear floor wet? The door seals look good, so the only other thing I can think of is a hole in the floorboard. Anything else I should check for? What would cause the front passenger side to be wet as well?
Thanks,
Jason

I usually use compressed air and a blow gun with a rubber tip, open up the sunroof and use a bottle if water and pour it right at the drain hole in the sunroof gutter assembly for the right front and right rear, there are four drains. If the water is just puddling and not going anywhere then you found the suspected drain. Do not put full air to the drain or you will pipe the hose off, baby hair trigger squeezes, just enough to blow some air through it. Probably a spider nest in the tube
