Does anyone have any idea what a Cobalt SS/SC with JBP Vortex headers and Vibrant 3in cat back exhaust would sound like??? Or JBP headers with 3in piping and Tsudo muffler on the Cobalt SS/SC would sound like???

 

i know the vortex header is supposed to sound awesome. Im guessing that it would sound realy good, but also it would be really loud. Theres some clips on youtube of the vortex header

 

Yeah I looked up the vids. The vortex headers with GMPP exhaust sounds like a ferrari while the vortex headers with 3in piping and 40 series flow master sounds like a LT1 Camaro. This header makes such a nice sound but it really varies with the exhaust. I have 3in piping with a Tsudo muffler. It sounds like the Vibrant 3in cat-back exhaust just a bit less deep at idle. I will post videos of my exhaust. Then someone might have an idea of what it would sound like. I am guessing it would sound more like the LT1 Camaro then the Ferrari because of the 3in piping.

No really. You should do 2.5 or 2.75 not 3 or it's going to sound pretty bad but not bad ass. GMPP or maybe magnaflow.

 

and it has been dyno proven that people gain power when going from a 3inch down to a true 2.5
