Spare Tire

Caught a curb and have a flat.

I was looking at my owners Manuel and I'm confused. I understand how to change the tire, but should the flat tire in the front be replaced by a full size from the back? And the donut on the rear axle?

The manual says something about this but doesn't make it clear.

It's an 08 LS with steel wheels.

with the ss i know you do have to put the spare in the rear because it wont clear the calipers...it would make sense to do this anyway since its a fwd car.

Move a good tire from the back up front and put your spare in the rear. It's generally not a good idea to put a spare up front. Sorry to hear about your problem, but at least its minor lol.

You never put a spare on a drive wheel, especially with fwd. If you get a flat on the front, jack up the rear, put the spare on the rear. Jack up the flat in the front, put the full size from the rear on the front
