Hi Everyone,

Just got my Cobalt LS Arrival Blue with the sport appearance package and the premium audio. It is a great car and I love driving it. I have owned my Cobalt for a week now and there is this squeaking sound from the clutch pedal of depress or release of the pedal. What can I do to get rid of the sound??? By the way the Pioneer Premium Audio system rocks it is definitely worth the money.

I hear that a lot of new cars have a squeaky pedal and steering wheel. I think it just needs to be broken it. Lets see some pics in the Members Rides area

 

No problem I will get some pics in this weekend. The only this is I have my steels on with my winter tires.

 

Actually my ION's clutch pedal has started to squeek, and I have over 30,000 Kms on the damn thing. It never squeeked until just recently. I think I'm gonna try some WD-40 to get rid of the damn squeeking.

 

HAHAHAHA... ME TOO... Speed220... I picked mine up yesterday.. and 5 minutes into driving it.. I said the same thing.... I found myself on my knee looking under the dash to see what was going on.... I found nothing... Well I lied.. Hold ON... I did find something....

The bypass switch that the clutch pedal hits to start the engine... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Remote starter??? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm NAH!!! screw it... lol..

Like someone just said... Needs to be broken in.... And if it does not go away... Well, damn, we have a warrantyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy on the car...! lol
