Squeeky Seats?

I have a 06 cobalt ss/sc, non-g85 package and i was wondering, does anybody elses drivers seat squeek? Like i can pretty much not move at all and the freaking thing squeeks. My girlfriend rides shotgun all the time and her seat never squeeks, i only weigh 185 lbs so its not like a 400 lbs monster or anything lol.

Anybody know if one of our vendors sells the g85 seats? Id pick those up in hopes it'd get rid of that god damned squeek haha.

Mine have started squeaking a lot lately, but I don't think its the leather, I think its coming from below the seat or on the brackets somewhere.

Its the plastic that touches the leather on the sides of the seat, quick fix is to slip another piece of material in there of the same color, and voila no squeek. This happens as the weather gets progressively cooler, when its warm out, nothing.

I'd love to think thats what it is, but it did it all of summer, and its only the drivers seat, even my best friend sat in the passenger seat and not a noise and he weighs about 30-40 lbs more than me

Thats exactally what it sounds like, it sounds like its below the seat, almost on the bottem left.

it is the plastic on the side of the seat ive poked around it, its when you sit on the seat it smooshes a little and pushes against the platic on the side like where the seat ajuster is cause when i raise the seat it stops , well it doesnt happen as often anyway it still does tho its more the plastic creaking from being pushed on i think, thats my theory on it anyway.....smooshes.....lol

If this is the cause of the squeaks in my car I'm going to be sooo happy, and yet so pissed.
I've spent so much time going nuts looking for the source of it that it can't be this simple...! I even had my gf drive down bumpy roads while I sat in the back seat investigating.. no luck! Everywhere I looked, the sound moved and came from another direction!
And yes, it's been getting worse as it's been getting cold, so this has got to be it.. I hope!

the seat adjuster that moves you forward and back bounces and the leather rubs on the sides of you seat adjuster where its leather and plastic

EASY FIX!!

Just lather the side of the seat really well with leather conditioner and it will go away. It makes the leather really smooth and won't squeak anymore. It lasts for a few months but I just reapply it when I do my interior detailing.

If that fixes it ill be happy. I refuse to raise my seat, our car sits high enough as is for a sport compact, i hate looking down at cars like mr2's, 3000gt's... hell even older civics!!
