Where is the stock location for the side SS badges? I got my 2007 LSJ used and it's pretty obvious someone reglued them on (quite poorly I might add). They're located close to the hinge but towards the very bottom of the door. But on CSS.net I've seen numerous cars with them in the middle of the door.

Which is the original location? And why put it in the middle?

 

The stock location on my 07 SS\sc is on the front bottom of the doors, below the mirrors. Right before the door "flairs" out a bit going towards the rocker panel, if that makes any sense.

 

05 was the only year that had the ss badges half way up the door. 06+ was at the bottom of the door.

If I Google cobalt ss both the middle and the bottom show up. With no explanation. So yea posting a thread is easier and much more helpful.
