awhile back someone had posted on what parts you would need to fit an SS front clip on a base coupe. Since i work part time (lately very part time) at a body shop and have some extra cash, i was thinking that changing noses would be neat... from what i remember of this thread, there was a list of things needed as it was not a direct swap... i tried the search button, but couldn't find it.

Anyone remember this, or has done this, or knows what the hell i'm talking about?
Any help would be appreciated.

The front ends on each of the models is exactly the same. It should be a direct swap out.. but you'll also have to replace the inner bumper if you want propper impact protection.

 

I was wondering about that because i just remember there being a list of parts to do the swap... You're probably right, but before I order the thing, I want to be sure. have to stop out at the Chevy dealer tomorrow and look at their computer.
