I agree, GOTTA bethe sunroof. the good news is there isn't much left to build onto the car after, so, how many more delays can there be??

Delays over soon?
OK, so I just got a call from GM. I was informed that there have been a bunch of SS/SC models that're already built that've been sitting at the plant since March 30th. Apparently, there was a small issue with Sunroofs that they'd been fixing. However, they were only fixing them on the weekends. They're HOPEFULLY going to be finished fixing them this weekend, at which point they'll start rolling out to dealers (Hopefully they've been rolling them out after fixing them this whole time, but that wasn't the impression I got). She then said it'd be up to 10 days for the trek from Lordstown to Windsor (which I thought was interesting - it's a 3 hour drive) and it could be 5 days from the time it arrives in Windsor until it reaches the dealer. So, it looks like I can expect to see something in about 20 days. Hopefully everyone else will also. For now, I guess I'll just remain cautiously optimistic

If your car is built and they are holding it... just eb happy that means they are fixing problems that they knew already came up... so you wont have to deal with them.

My car has been built for 2.5 weeks (Confirmed by my dealer and folks on this board). I even have a VIN #. Its been sitting in "quality control" the whole time.
I'm REALLY hoping it'll show up next week.
Yea mine is also built but in "hold" for some reason since 4/13. Dont know what the hold up is. I have a vin #, order number and everything. Still have not got a price (i get a discount because im an employee).
So..
Playing the waiting game!!!

I already have my SS/SC, it was built in Feb. Is this a recently discovered flaw with the sunroofs on ALL Cobalts built, or just a manufacturing problem that arrose at a later time? Should I expect my sunroof to give me problems down the road?

. I found this on another site from a poster named Cobaltbuilder. I would be ticked if I was one of you waiting while the problem was being "repaired" "O.K. Here is what I found out. There was a rubber gasket on the inside part of the sun roof that was not fittting tightly enough and was letting water leak in, so they stopped shipment until the supplier brought in new gaskets and the old ones were replaced. The trouble is that to replace the gasket you have to remove the whole sun roof assembly and that takes time, tonight I stayed over for a couple of hours and saw at least 70 to 80 cars still waiting to be repaired, however, all the new cars being built have the new gasket...
