For the SS/SC owners...
What is the exact inlet size of the pipe going into the stock exhaust...I've heard 2 1/4 and 2 1/2 inches...anyone know for sure...is it centered in the middle of the muffler or an offset to the side...and what brand would you go with Magnaflow, Borla or Flowmaster?

The last 1/4 of the exhaust is 2.25".
If you are just replacing the muffler the best gains will be seen if you use a straight through muffler like Magnaflow, Borla & Dynomax Ultra Flow.
I am glad to see you also want more than a Fart-Can.
