Sti or Evo X?
The ss trans isn't that bad people around here just have it in their mind that a trans should be designed to hold 1000 tq. I believe the f35 can hold around 450? That's about what the SST starts breaking at iirc. Might be around 400
I have a 13 X and I love it as a daily driver. Gas does suck though and there's no factory tune and mitsu is very quick to pull your warranty. I read horror stories about exhaust and intake voiding you warranty. My local dealer service dept sucks ***** also. The car is great but the company is ****.

Here's a link to a pic of my X fresh off the lot.

Hey, I came over here from 8thcivic.com. My experience says the X is a better option. The new STi's feel soft. Not to mention the piston 4 ringland issues. Full floating pistons > 2.5L boxer.
The GSR is definitely the way to go if you're into modding and driving in general. Personally, I prefer three pedals to two. I feel more engaged with the car. The MR SST is awesome if you plan on keeping your car mostly stock. The SST is really only good until about 330WTQ before you have to invest in transmission upgrades or cooling options.
