Hey just wondering if someone could tell me if the stock head unit has a usb somewhere. I can't find one but I'm wondering if there''s one I'm not seeing.

I just got a 2006 2.4 SS with the top of the line audio system and the MP3 equipped pioneer head unit. Any help is great thanks guys.

 

we dont have usb, only the new ones in 08? and after that?

 

I believe the USB radio was only available for 2009 - 2010 models.

Your radio can play MP3 CDs though. That's quite useful.

 

Yup, they started with the USB port as an option in 2009 and standard in 2010. It's located opposite the aux input. It's very handy I rarely ever pop CDs in. I'm going on a long road trip with some friends, I'm telling them to bring USB sticks with the music they want.

Not on a 2006 radio, no. There isn't an aux-in.

 

hmm that's odd so what is the "source" button for if there's no other input? Color me stupid I'm just curious
