I have an 06 SS with 90k+ and it just started making a strange noise but it only happens from about 1800-2000 rpm and 2800-3000 rpm. It might be a rattle or something its hard to tell. It happens under accel and decel. Any ideas?

 

Rattle can be coming from numerous places... Bad catalyc converter, loose/broken heatshield, timing chain tensioner, timing chain guides, sc coupler, etc. Those are the most common. Where is it coming from?

Not to mention Throw out bearings make noises when going out too

 

its hard to tell where its coming from its def from the front of the car but i cant tell if its driver or passenger side

 

Maybe u can get someone to step on the gas while u listen
