Stuck in my car
I think you didn't think out your purchase enough before you bought the car. You should researched more and looked ahead at your future priorities to see if you would still want the car for at least 4 years. Hell you didn't even make it more than a year.
And as mentioned buy some snow tires. I ran mine in the winter last year with 17" wheels and snow tires and it was a TANK! I made awd trucks and suvs look pathetic.

eh its cool i have no problems keeping my car whatsoever. tbh i'd rather keep it but i was a little caught up in the moment of a new truck then this trade in thing kinda sent me over the edge. the biggest reason i didn't get a truck before was my insurance would have been $500 a month and now i was quoted at $260 which is my current insurance. i love my car i was just caught up is all
Imo this car's way to much fun to get rid of for a truck. But then again I'm not a truck guy.
That shock of how much you're upside down can hurt. When I first looked at buying an SS/TC I was about 4k upside down in a LT. That really sucked. I know it's worse on your car, but at least the SS is fast.

If you are a car salesman then just sell your car privately, you of all people should know that the dealerships won't give you what your car is worth
Snow tires FTW! I also drove mine after a light dusting and I could have snapped a brick with my cheaks it was nuckin futs. Then I got my winters a few days later and it was way beyond easier driving. As mentioned before it's basically a tank and yeah I drive on by as other people in their 4x4s that think they're invincible in a truck or SUV spin and get stuck. It's not the car that matters its the tires and the driver.
I got offered 13,000 for my '07 SS S/C just last month... that's insane that they'd pay the same for a newer car with (presumably) less miles.
Insurance is $165 a month last I checked...

Get Blizzaks, don't be afraid anymore. /Story
I drove my car all last winter with the stock contis even and I did just fine, and it was ALWAYS snowing here. There was only like 2 weeks last winter that the road didn't have snow on it.
You just need to know how to snow drive.

Sounds to me like instead of getting further in the hole and complaining about it when a dealer doesnt let u, u should save up for something called a down payment. Or buy out ur current car, OR get some freakin winter tires. Over $400 for a car payment is bad.

I just got my 07 SC in July. Bought snows for it and it handles great in the snow. The bad thing is my wife drove it and realized it handles better in the snow than her 4wd Envoy XL. Now whenever it snows she whines about taking the truck. We just got the damn thing for her a year and a half ago because she wanted 4wd.
Oh well happy wife, happy life.
