Taillights

Why do some Cobalts have the round taillights and others have the 1/4 circle? Is it year (05-06)?

2 doors have circular tail lights plus the ones on the trunk, 4 doors have the big tail lights and none on the trunk

Coupes have round, sedans have the other ones. The Pursuit/G4/G5 also have different tail lights.

I like both. Too bad there isint a way to get the ring around the backup lights to light up as well on the coupes.
