I had my Cobalt SS/SC for about a week and a half now and the right taillight went out a week after I picked the car up. Wondering if anyone else has had anything unusual happen?

 

I wouldn't worry about it.. maybe was just a bad bulb. I don't have a cobalt but on my cav I replaced the drivers side tail light and a few days later it went out again for some reason. I just put the extra in and it's worked fine ever since.

 

Check the bulb, sometimes they aren't tightened the whole way from the factory, my friend's ION was that way. If it's tight and still won't light, replace it, maybe it's a bad bulb. If it goes out again, take it to the dealer - it might be a short in the electrical system that runs power to the light.
