A testement to Cobalt SS?

Almost got in a wreck tonight with my wife in my 07 Cobalt SS/SC. iI attribute us not bein worse off to my cobalt more than my defensive driving but heres the story.

I was on my way to a party with my wife and heading down a four lane road when i was passed by another yellow ss cobalt and a silver mazda speed6. speed limit was 50, i was going 55 outta habit and the two other cars were movin but nothing too insane. my cop senses say they were goin maybe 70-80. the mazda was on the outside lane and hit the curb and started loosin it making the cobalt in front of me hit its brakes hard. we were in the inside lane and i had to hit the breaks and go into the oncoming lanes so i wouldnt rearend the other cobalt ( a beautiful example at that ) and i started loosing it as well because we were coming to a bend in the road and i was tryin not to go off the road because the bend is also a bridge. i down shifted from 4th to 3rd and got traction back in time to only catch the curb with my back left tire givin the rim abit of curb rash. the mazda wasnt so lucky. it did a 180 then hit a light post taking it out then rolled once down a 25ft 45 degree slope. the driver was unhurt thank god except for a bloody nose from the air bag.

im pissed now though because my alignments off (on a three day holiday weekend no less) and my wife was in the car with me. goes to show you when you street race you dont endanger just yourself. you endanger those around you badly too.

oh yeah. the yellow cobalt won from what i could see. so heres an unenthusiastic whoohoo for that guy. the two drivers are close friends so hope they learned something

Yea, +1 to your defensive driving! -1 to Mazda owner. And make him pay for your alignment and rim repair.
