I have great condition OEM comparable headlights. Used them for like 6 months and switched to OEM SS lights. Have them in boxes to ship too...

the most expensive ones i find are like $150 for stock. NEW, they are still asking avg $100 per for 8 year old housing...

we got a bucksauto ( a yard filled wit junkers YOU take the parts off you need, super cheap ) here that only charges $20 per, but there is not even 1 balt in their lot and with how many of these cars there is around i was suprised they had none. seriously all over the place around here.

got a set off a friend for a good price.
not in the best of shape, one has both bottom T shaped things to hold the headlight broken off, and the other one - that piece that cups over the headlight bulb is some how rusted or tarnished to abosulte ****. havent got both apart yet.

but i got full creative control and the set thats currently in my car for spare parts. so im excited
can always get everything els done, take the set out of my car for last minute part swaps, put back together and install. 20 minutes to seperate the lense.. haha pain in the ass

Yes there are tons of balts in salvage but most are bought up by big auto recyclers like lkq and so on. I took a day trip to a u pull it out in the eastern part of the state and found one but nothing I was looking for.

Are you going to the salvage yards that pull the parts for you already? They usually charge a hell of a lot more because of that, but the advantage is they keep an inventory and you know for a fact what parts they have. I usually go to a few junkyards where you have to pull your own parts and the only info they know is what cars they have and when they got them. But that makes it exciting lol. I usually pick up OEM headlights from them with bulbs and harnesses for $25-30 each. Also any junk yard will usually work with you on a price. A lot of them get the cars for scrap value or slightly over. Usually they only care about large parts especially motors because when the car has been picked through, they sell it to a metal recycling company. Basically any non metal parts they sell is 100% profit for them.

50 balts? Fuuuck id be havin a hayday, my old lady would hate me lol
Id have ss seats, almost guArntee a s/c, headlights, dash trim **** the list goes on

But theres been 1 balt in my local junk yard in past 6 months ( only place im town WE the customer take the parts off ) and that car was picked to piees, i got a good tranny pan off it thats it. After i was done they brought it to the scrap yard in their same lot ( good set up actually, a scrap yard witj bailers , shredders n all that paired with a junker yard all in like 2 acres of land hahaa )

I usually take a trip down there every other week and ask a few of the guys if they seen any.
