im thinking of getting an 06 ss/sc,,ive found alot of useful info on here but is there anything i should know before i get one like what options i should ask for,,and about how much should i pay? thanks anything would be helpful.

If you want the Limited Slip order the G85 package, even if you don't like the seats. It would cheaper to change and sell the seats than it would to buy and install the LSD.

If you test drive the car and the boost gauge reads low all the time, have them check the vacuum canister connections.

I'n not sure on pricing because my Grandpa retired from GM, so I get the employee price.

 

nah not really, make sure it fits your budget and dont let them charge you over sticker.

I have bought two new cars and I will definately recomend that you go in there professionally and no matter what they offer you leave and let them call you back cause it will be a better offer.

Great car, 06's seem to have less problems and are a little faster, so I would definately go that route.

Options get everything but ONStar and XM if you can. LSD is worth it!

onstar

stock it already comes with leather seats, it already has a factory pioneer sub, it has a stock MP3 player etc.

so yea thats really all you have as a choice on top of a base SS/SC.

 

If you don't get the G85 Performance Package you can choose the color of the leather inserts on the doors and the seats. They have Blue, Red, and Yellow, but only with out the G85 option.
