thinking of buying a cobalt ss

i am thinking of buying a cobalt ss...i have a couple of questions before i take the leap

...what is the fastest cobalt on record and what does he have done

...what does the stage 2 normally put you at quarter-mile wise

...and how much does the bottom end handle

any input would be much appreciated thank you

The fastest cobalt I know of is the first FWD 4 cyl car to reach 200mph in 1/4 mile. The stage 2 kit isn't out yet. the bottom end can handle 8k rpm's "all day long" (according to a GM engineer), but the eop end can't. All internals are forged but the pistons. The fastest cobalt on these forums I believe is a guy here that ran a 13.5 @104mph, with a $600 aftermarket setup.
