Thinking of buying a High K 2006 Cobalt SS SC
Hi there All.. was just looking to see what some real cobalt owners think or people who know this Car well 2006 Edition SS SC ones, but okay i found one on Kijiji that has 272 Km's on it, on the test drive it sounded like the shock and front strut mounts were done more the rears.. where the car is the roads are absolute crap, but besides that seemed pretty good, one owner and mostly highway KM's its also an american car the KM's on Gauge were in Mph, but i will be bringing it over to my family mechanic if i do buy it, just wanna hear what people think, its Yellow and in really good condition no rust underneath, look forward to hearing everyones thoughts.

I didnt hear any clunking over any mad pothols just sounded like mouths rattling around, hopefully its just Mount's, 272+K lot K's but 2006 Ecotec is a pretty decent motor, 272K's pretty High tho think said 164,000 miles or so, hope get some good insight before i pass out... Thanks.
IDK it would soley depend on price for me, I dont have any problem with SS's with high mileage as long as they are bought at the right price so that you can unload them if you want to and not take much of a hit. Id say if it is clean and tight then im sure it will treat you well....I would def go through all the fluids and change everyone of them and dont beat on it. Wut is the seller askin for it(price)?
how much are they asking for it? 06's were the best made out of the lsj series. is it a g85? does it have recaro seats? just like 05ss said change ALL the fluids. check to see if the intercooler pump is working. most of the time its not and needs replacement. which is cheap and u can do it urself in 10 minutes TOPS. you can tell from having the car running and open the filler cap which is located in front of the blower and is mounted. should be a black cap. don't worry it doesnt matter if the car is hot or cold the fluid will not spray at u under pressure just have it running take the cap off and if the orange fluid is moving obviously the pump is working. if its at a stand still and no movement... boom u just knocked some money off the buy. just say hey its gonna cost me 400 bucks to replace it (it only cost 120-130) but they dont know that so it will take a little piece of change off the buy price which is what your aiming for
