Im thinking of getting my windows tinted. Place near me with a good rep has it for 150 with a year 1 warranty and then they got 3M tint for like 250-300 for a life time warranty. Wanted to know if thats a good price around here in central nj. If so, is it worth going for the better stuff? Thanks guys.

 

I wouldn't do 3m tint, reason being it has the 3m logo in the tint every foot or so, its just annoying. maybe they have changed it recently, but thats how it was last i knew.

If you get good tint you won't need the life time warranty, unless it covers you accidently damaging it, then it would be nice to have.

 

i got a quote for $250 (including light tint on front windows) in s.j.

 

very reasonable price if they have a good rep. I believe I paid $225 or so for 20% all around and an eyebrow.

 

Thanks for the input guys. So you think the more expensive stuff is not worth it. I meen id love to save 100 bucks, but having to get it redone after 2 years would kinda suck too.

 

I paid 220 for 3m, and it doesn't have any logo's on it.

 

Anybody up there use Lamar tint?? It cost me $160 to do all my windows with an eybrow with lifetime warranty.

then they must have made some changes. i'm sure their stuff is high quality, I have a friend who has it on his truck, its about 3 years old and still looks good, but it has little 3m logos in it, which I would hate.

I have llumar, so far so good. except where i sort of scratched it with my key. oops.

 

i paid $180 for 20% tint all around and $100 for the front windshield at 50%

 

20% all around plus 6" strip upfront + 5 year warrenty for 150

 

strip 5%, fronts 35% + 20%, rear 35% + 5% and back 35% + 5% + 5% all for 160(+tax)
