the butterfly still seals when it closes (no throttle) right? maybe you bored too much out or made a spot where extra air is getting past the butterfly.

Might have taken out too much material. Car will get itself to idle no matter how big the throttle body is, what you have sounds like an air leak somewhere.

Did you use the stock butterfly? If so that is why. There is practically no space between that throttle body and the butterfly. If you alter that in any way it will make a difference in idle. The proper way to bore a throttle body is to look at you maximum boring allowance and butterfly options and make your choice accordingly. It is vary hard to match butterfly's by hand and you will get proper idle by having it machined. If you are able to use the stock butterfly you really didn't "bore" it, you may have done a little bit but of polishing but you would show no gains from "boring". hope this helps you.

i have no cel,and no codes when i pull it up on my matco scan tool....wtf i checked for all possible leaks....will the high rmp's damage my engine....DAMN this is frustrating ,btw thanks everyone for your help so far......this is just real mind boggeling

i just cleaned the inside of the tb up top and bottom i left around the butterfly alone it seals up fine i just took off excess material..........ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

hmmmmmm...could it be because i bored the top out before the stock butterfly and the bottom out after the butterfly its some how messing with the tps sensor.....yes its the stock butterfly....will i be safe

boring out your tb or buying a bb tb will maximize air flow resulting in more power i guess i just fucked up somehow

hopefully i can get this fixed.....i hope i smarter than the average bear lol...a little humor if anyone has any more suggestions id really appreciate it but till then i guess im gonna drive the damn thing

The only thing it will **** up is your gas mileage. If that doesn't bother you then your good. As far as more hp you have to get ride of the bottle neck to take advantage of a free flowing application.

It sounds like you didnt bore your TB at all. If you didnt bore all the way threw and didnt have to replace the butterfly then you ported your TB. This would tell me that you didnt look at a website or anything. Why the hell would you cut up your TB if you didnt know what you were doing???

you need to reset your min. air rate using a tech 2 or hptuners

check the service manual to see if there is an actual procedure to perform while doing this
